Our client is seeking a Learning Manager. The Learning Manager will ensure that the internship and curriculum experiences help students develop the passion, knowledge, skills, attitudes and work habits to pursue a career in the mental health field. Responsibilities include program planning, development, and evaluation; related class instruction; on the job instruction to provide students with a quality program experience.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in planning, developing and implementing strategic goals and program initiatives
  • Oversee the creation of a project based, mental health curriculum that inspires students and builds their confidence to develop mental health related careers.
  • Design content that deepens participant knowledge of mental health and utilizes best instructional practices.
  • Apply knowledge of instructional system design, available technology and youth learning theory to propose, design and develop learning solutions that are cost-effective and meet business learner needs
  • Develop and implement systems and processes for effective coordination and delivery of in person and distance learning course implementation across multiple modalities.
  • Manage and distribute course materials needed to attend and engage in learning programs.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to provide input for training content
  • Coordinate the selection and development of instructional materials. Digital resources and implementation of internship curriculum.
  • Research, identify, and process new sources of career/work related opportunities and career readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of curriculum/program experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience with BIPOC and LGBTQ youth population required
  • Prior experience with community-focused and/or educational initiatives preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written, verbal) and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated strategic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
  • Able to share in morale building and group support to achieve goals and objectives

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,032 - $95,000 annually. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
