SPARC Health is seeking an experienced, kind and energetic speech therapist to join our team to open up and lead a new branch of our Satellite office in Bothell.

We are looking to interview qualified candidates in May 2023 and open up the new branch in June or July 2023.

*This position is for an SLP who will lead and oversee our new location in Bothell. This location's address is to be determined. The SLP will likely be a solo practitioner for the first few months and eventually be responsible for overseeing 2-3 other SLP's whilst reducing their own patient care caseload.

The position can be salaried or hourly- based on the employee's preference.

The position is based off a 35-40 hour work week and can be achieved working four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.

We cannot accept CFY candidates at this time.

We are requesting at least 3 years of experience working with pediatric and/or a mixed age client population but will consider others.

The speech therapist's responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing individual treatment plans, liaising with teachers, family members, and other healthcare professionals, administering therapy and monitoring progress, and ensuring patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques.

Our main clinic is located in Bellevue, please take a look at our website. We will be available to provide ongoing support to the lead therapist in the Bothell location.

Speech Therapist Responsibilities:

Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders.

Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members, physicians, and teachers to design effective treatment plans.

Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.

Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional and academic networks.

Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies.

Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress.

Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.

Speech Therapist Requirements:

Master's degree in speech therapy or speech-language pathology.

Relevant license and certification.

Experience with certain disorders and age groups may be required.

Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.

Familiarity with database management software.

Excellent relationship-building skills.

Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.

Willingness to conduct research and travel to conferences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
