WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Receive calls for requests for security assistance, and evaluate calls to identify priority situations to dispatch security personnel appropriately.

• Reviews time and attendance records in collaboration with the manager to ensure issues are appropriately addressed and accurate timekeeping records are maintained.

• Assist security personnel in the De-escalation of situations involving agitated or aggressive persons using established principles in de-escalation, including potential application of physical restraints, to prevent safety hazards.

• Maintain safe and secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors by monitoring CCTV Franciscan Alliance, conducting internal and external patrols and following established Franciscan Alliance protocols.

• Coordinate the daily operations of the Security Department in the absence of the Security Manager.

• Direct persons coming into the facility to obtain proper visitor passes and assist with directions; answer visitor’s questions such as locations of various offices, rooms, and other areas.

• Monitor the operations of a unit and provide input to the performance of individuals through feedback and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred Associate's Degree

• Required High School Diploma/GED

• 1 year Certified Law Enforcement Experience as a sworn Police Officer Preferred

• 1 year Security Required

• 1 year Department of Corrections/Military Police Preferred

• Drivers License - Drivers License

• License to Carry Handgun
