NOCO KIDS ACADEMY

JOB DESCRIPTION

Teacher responsibilities include:

• Writing lesson plans to fit with each week's Bible theme for their age group.
• Meeting the individual needs of the children.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, learning, self-esteem, and social skills.
• Effective communication with parents.
• Participating in staff meetings and training.
• Embodying NOCO Kids Academy values and standards. Taking ownership to continue their education.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum three (3) years experience teaching in a ECE environment.
• Colorado Shines Credential Level 3.0, Level 2 or higher.

Education:

• Bachelors degree, Associates degree, or CDA with emphasis on Early Childhood Education or related field is required.
• Candidate must be Early Childhood Teacher qualified under the Colorado state regulations, including passing all required background checks.
• CPR/First Aid Certification from an approved vendor preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Benefits available after 90 days of employment.
