Basic Purpose Of The Job

Performs and assists in supervising routine MRI procedure, studies and treatments under the supervision of a Radiologist; assists in the performance level of the technical and clerical staff members in accordance with quality standards. Recommends the scheduling of personnel, repairs, and work progress in accordance with quality standards. Ability to function as an MRI technologist as the needs arise.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Completion of formal radiologic training from an AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by ARRT

Required : Texas Certified (CMRT) Required upon hire. AART in Radiology. ARRT in

Licenses/Certifications: MRI Preferred. Must have current BLS for health care provider

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must possess personnel management and management skills to facilitate smooth inter and intra department relationships. Previous supervisory/management experience or aptitude. Ability to relate well with all levels of people to include physicians. Human resource management skills necessary with proven ability to motivate staff, provide leadership and ensure accountability within the MRI department.
