Summary
ARBC Weekday Preschool is now hiring a full-time LEAD teacher to work Monday-Friday in our older Infant classroom. Lead teacher will work with two other teachers to engage children, maintain a loving and safe classroom, and follow all DSS licensing requirements. We are looking for a natural leader that is hard-working, energetic, passionate, and flexible! Do you love children and helping them learn and grow through play? Duties
- Follow all DSS licensing requirements
- Feeding, diapering, interacting with children, playing on the floor
- Creating lesson plans based on SC Early Learning Standards
- Maintain individual schedules of children and/or class
- Communicating with parents throughout the day
- Cleaning throughout the day
- Relate in a positive manner with children, parents, and coworkers
Requirements
- ECD 101 Certification
- Experience working with infants
- 6 months work experience in a SC licensed childcare center
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 18 years old
- Must be able to pass DSS background check & fingerprint scan
- Pass health assessment and TB test
- Complete 15 hours of training throughout the year (provided on site and paid for)
- Must have a flexible, helpful and patient nature
