Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations according to drawings, specifications, or narrative provided, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Lead and supervise electrical crews, providing guidance, instructions, and support throughout the project.
- Manage the electrical project from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards.
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth integration of electrical work with other project activities.
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts and propose appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment for the electrical crew and other workers on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, including daily reports, material usage, and any changes or modifications to the original project plan.
- Communicate and collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Journeyman's license is preferred- OSHA 30 certification preferred (First Aid/CPR certification is preferred)
- Proficient in bending and installing conduit
- Experienced in pulling and terminating circuits
- Skilled in installing light fixtures
- Knowledgeable in a panelboard and switchgear installation and wiring
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (grocery store remodels, restaurant electrical construction, and blueprint reading is desired)
- Third-shift experience is a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Must be willing to work out of town
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
