Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations according to drawings, specifications, or narrative provided, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Lead and supervise electrical crews, providing guidance, instructions, and support throughout the project.
  • Manage the electrical project from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth integration of electrical work with other project activities.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment for the electrical crew and other workers on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, including daily reports, material usage, and any changes or modifications to the original project plan.
  • Communicate and collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Journeyman's license is preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (First Aid/CPR certification is preferred)
  • Proficient in bending and installing conduit
  • Experienced in pulling and terminating circuits
  • Skilled in installing light fixtures
  • Knowledgeable in a panelboard and switchgear installation and wiring
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (grocery store remodels, restaurant electrical construction, and blueprint reading is desired)
  • Third-shift experience is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • Must be willing to work out of town
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
