Switch Audio Video, a Birmingham-based, locally owned AV company, has an opening for a Lead AV Tech/Installer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AV installer or lead installer to join the most recognized AV company in town.

What you’ll do:

• Install Switch AV products for commercial and residential projects.
• Interact with customers to explain operation of systems and remotes.
• Troubleshoot and correct service issues.
• Work with our systems designer and project manager to plan each install before going on site.
• Represent Switch AV in a professional and friendly manner.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AV installer, lead tech, or project manager.
• Detailed product knowledge of Switch product lines including Universal Remote, and Sonos plus experience with Control4 and other full automation systems and security products.

Compensation:

• Base salary ($45-70k based on experience)
• Sign on bonus
