Residential Maintenance Foremen

• Foremen lead the 3-person crew by being a coach, trainer, and mentor to the Laborer and Leadman.

• Keeps crew productively occupied based on the daily schedule set after meeting with Supervisor.

• Must have delegation and organization skills and be efficient with time and materials.

• Communicate with customers, supervisors and crew as necessary to complete all maintenance projects.

Foremen should be bi-lingual in Spanish and English.

• Drive the company truck and trailer, maintain appropriate driver’s license, and report any vehicle

accidents to Fleet Department.

• Maintain truck and assigned tools and report any problems.

• Prepare daily time tickets, ensuring accuracy of payroll and billing. Fill out absentee forms, work orders,

product reporting, receipts, and transfers.

• In addition to general maintenance tasks listed for a Laborer, Foremen must also have plant identification

skills; be able to observe/diagnose disease, insect, weed or other pest problems; and have some pesticide
knowledge.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, follow directions and safety policy guidelines, have good communication

and a positive attitude, be willing to learn, and attend meetings as required.

• Debe tener habilidades de delegación y de la organización y ser eficiente con el tiempo y los materiales.

• Comunicarse con los clientes, los supervisores y la cuadrilla como sea necesario para completar todos los

proyectos de mantenimiento. Los capataces deben ser bilingües en español e inglés.

• Conducir el camión de la empresa y el remolque, mantener la licencia de conducir apropiada, y reportar

cualquier accidente de vehículo al Departamento de Flota.

• Dar mantenimiento al camión y herramientas asignadas y reportar cualquier problema.

• Preparar diario boletas de tiempo, asegurando la precisión de la nómina y la facturación. Llenar los formularios

para ausentarse, las órdenes de trabajo, informes de productos, recibos y transferencias.

• Además de las tareas de mantenimiento generales indicadas para un Obrero, Capataces también debe tener

habilidades de identificación de plantas; poder observar / diagnosticar enfermedades, insectos, malezas u otros

problemas de plagas, y tener algún conocimiento de los pesticidas.

• Debe ser capaz de levantar 50 libras, seguir las instrucciones y orientaciones de las pólizas de seguridad, tener

una buena comunicación y una actitud positiva, estar dispuesto a aprender, y asistir a las reuniones cuando sea

necesario.

Residential Landscape Construction Foremen

• Foremen lead the 3-person crew by being a coach, trainer, and mentor to the Laborer and Leadman.

• Must have delegation and organization skills and be efficient with time and materials.

• Communicate with customers, architects, designers, supervisors, and crew as necessary to complete all

landscape projects. Foremen should be bi-lingual in Spanish and English.

• Drive the company truck and trailer, maintain appropriate driver’s license, and report any vehicle

accidents to Fleet Department.

• Maintain truck and assigned tools and report any problems.

• Prepare daily time tickets, ensuring accuracy of payroll and billing. Fill out absentee forms, work orders,

product reporting, receipts, and transfers.

• Foremen must be able to perform all general construction tasks listed for a Laborer.

• Softscape installation - be able to read and interpret plans, layouts, and transit operations.

• Hardscape preparation (including retaining walls), flat work, set walls and mortar work grading and

drainage – transit operations, pitch, water flow and pipe, layout.

• Strong plant identification knowledge.

• Must be able to lift 80 pounds, follow directions and safety policy guidelines, have good communication

and a positive attitude, be willing to learn, and attend meetings as required.

Pay & Benefits: Our season runs from April 1 through December 1, and we work typically from 7 am to 5 pm
Monday through Friday with many Saturdays in the height of the season. Overtime is a regular weekly occurrence.

All crew members, including foremen, report at our facility and are paid for travel to and from job sites. Uniforms

are provided and laundered by the company and at no cost to employees. Our fleet is well maintained, and all

vehicles are equipped with water coolers and top of the line equipment. Benefits include health insurance, personal

days, vacation days, quarterly merit bonus plan, referral bonuses, and CDL bonuses. Pay will be competitive based

on your experience, skills and abilities.
