Maintenance (Interior & Exterior) Laborer – LEHIGH COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY

Location: Varies – throughout Lehigh Valley

Requirements:

Experience, Work References, Excellent Attendance Record, Clean Driving Record, Valid Driver’s License, Insurance, Year-Round Transportation, High School Diploma/GED, Company paid Criminal Record Check, Physical and Drug Test, Physical ability to bend crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday, Proven maintenance experience, skilled in the use of hand and power tools

Maintenance – Full Time 40 hours weekly (1.5X Overtime)

Salary/ Hourly: $17.26 Eight (8) hour shift Monday – Friday (Weekend availability)

On-call to respond to emergency issues *ROTATION

Lehigh County Housing Authority (LCHA) provides low income housing rental properties to families throughout the Lehigh Valley. Duties:

A Property Maintenance Representative typically handles a variety of tasks, some of which are listed below:

· Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties

· Diagnose and repair problems with the interior and exterior of the building

· Locate competitive projects

· On-call to respond to emergency issues

· Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment

· Performing preventative maintenance

· Handling basic repairs and maintenance (including installation of fixtures and appliances)

· Make sure all repairs are carried out following the relevant building codes and rules

· Problem-solving: Maintenance and upkeep of properties

· Snow duty as needed
