Responsibilities:

• Maintain excellence in the preparation and delivery of all food and beverage offerings
• Ensure all products are prepared to specifications
• Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen and related areas
• Control food costs by maintaining product storage, minimizing waste, ensuring recipes are being followed
• Select, train, and supervise all kitchen staff
• Assist with team member schedules and meet labor cost goals
• Assist with the production and execution of catered events
• Knowledge in working each station as well as expo
• Lead by example and motivate through positive reinforcement
• Ensure all daily prep and cleaning lists are being completed

Requirements:

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2+ years cooking experience in restaurants or hotels
• Minimum of 1+ years management experience
• Catering and event experience is a plus
• A proven ability to supervise effectively
• Ability to lead others to success
• Servsafe certified

Required Skills

• Team player with energetic and enthusiastic personality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have strong organizational skills, including time management
• Ability to teach, communicate, and positively motivate
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
