Join the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas AmeriCorps VISTA Program. The Unified Government (UG) has committed to civic innovation, job creation, economic development, and the health of Wyandotte County residents - and our members are contributing in significant ways! We proudly offer our VISTAs a $100/month housing stipend! This AmeriCorps member will create more effective strategies and tools to communicate the mission, vision, and activities of the PAL to PAL attendees, current and potential PAL donors and supporters, and the broader KCK community; thus increasing visibility and support for PAL KCK in the community.
Member Duties : This VISTA will lead integration to an online marketing product (e.g. Constant Contact or MailChimp), to effectively communicate with PAL attendees, their families, current and potential PAL donors and supporters, and the broader community. This member will lead social media strategy/plan to effectively communicate the mission,vision, and activities of PAL KCK. The plan will complement fundraising efforts and increase community awareness and engagement.
