We are currently seeking a Jr. Project Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of assigned projects. This includes material take-offs, preparation of quotations, organization of project information, prepare, schedule, and track orders through the manufacturing process and supporting field sales when necessary. They will also have day-to-day involvement in both long and short-term planning of projects.

Essential Functions:

• Read architectural plans and specifications and interpret material and fabrication requirements.
• Perform accurate material take-offs and prepare quotations.
• Communicate clearly with architects/designers, customers, vendors and associates.
• Prepare, schedule, manage and track orders through the manufacturing process.
• Generate and compile project submittals.
• Generate fabrication drawings.
• Order materials from vendors.
• Enter orders.
• Complete project close out process inclusive of archive project details, submitting projects cost reconciliation, provide project warranty documents and other tasks as necessary.
• Manage time and activities according to schedule.
• Independently can manage different projects by communicating with customers as well as production.
• Willing to learn new systems.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration.
• Construction fabrication project management experience desirable.
• Ability to read architectural plans, specifications, customer take-offs and interpret material and fabrication requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand systems and components.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• CAD & Adobe software experience will be plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
