Job Description: A general practitioner is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated professional junior medical office assistant to assist with the day-to-day management of his medical practice. The prime candidate will be trained to replace the current senior office manager in the near future.
Salary: Salary based on experience $17.00 per hour
Job Schedule:
(25 to 30 hour work-week)
Schedule may change due to the doctor’s requirements
Sample Work Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wednesday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain smooth operation of medical office with other staff members
- Answering phone calls
- Maintaining files
- Welcoming visitors to the office
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Prepping patients’ charts
Qualifications:
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or test every 3 days
- Previous medical office experience a plus
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Proactive problem solver
