POSITION SUMMARY:

Hawaii Behavioral Health is seeking an individual who will be an integral part of our Finance Team. The position is Full-Time based in Honolulu, HI

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Execute the monthly financial statement closing process along with the AVP of Finance/Controller no later than the 15th of every month.

· Process the bi-weekly payroll for all employees including importing the hours from Central Reach into ADP and processing paid time off and employee reimbursements.

· Responsible for processing special requests for payroll issues that arise in between the normal payroll calendar.

· Produce financial reporting and analysis on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis in a timely fashion.

· Responsible for the entire accounts payable function inclusive of entering all vendor invoices into QuickBooks in a timely fashion, ensuring that invoices are paid properly based on vendor terms and cash flow, and advising the Director of Finance as to the status of all payables.

· Processing of all state, local, and property taxes payable including the Hawaii General Excise Tax monthly and the preparation of required tax forms and remitting payment.

· Provide regular account reconciliation to completion (accrual, bank reconciliation, etc.)

· Endorse implementation and confirm adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

· Define and flourish process improvements to streamline reporting and improve department efficiency.

· Assist the Human Resources Department with maintaining employee ADP accounts.

· Address questions, concerns, or issues that leadership team may have regarding payroll.

· Additional duties as requested by the AVP of Finance/Controller or other Executive Management.

· Ability to plan and execute multiple programs with the ability to navigate through ambiguity.

· Strong employee relations skills with the ability to listen, correct or redirect as needed.

· Strong time management skills/consistently adheres to deadlines.

· Ability to effectively communicate with/to multiple job levels.
