Job description
- Interpret drawings and communicate drawings to apprentices
- Promote positive leadership and a positive work environment
- Utilize wiring diagrams and plans to complete the project per specifications
- Shadows a Foreman to continue understanding and learning the trade
- Install conduit and pipes and run electrical conductors.
- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and terminates conductors.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Maintains constant communication with the Journeyman, Foreman, and Superintendent
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have a current Texas Journeyman license
- 4-year experience minimum
- Must be a good communicator, verbal and written
- Must be self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable
- Must have general knowledge of electricity and the desire to advance
- Must be able to pass E-Verify, background check, physical and drug screen
- Able to work in fast-paced environments and accomplish tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds
- Work well in a team environment
- Electrical tools required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
