Progressive Community & Vocational Services in Costa Mesa, CA is looking for direct care staff to join our team. Seeking caring and energetic staff to work with adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for staff with previous experience and are willing to be trained.

Responsibilities:

Requires working with developmental disabled adults (autism, intellectual disabilities, etc.,) and will be responsible for assisting individuals with their vocational activities in the facility and in the community . Staff will help them make progress with their behavior and self-care needs. The main responsibilities as a direct care facilitator is to facilitate meaningful activities that reflect the needs of each individual while supervising them.

· Maintain positive relations with individuals

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH (reading, writing, and communication skills)

· Maintain a valid driver's license ( preferred)

· Must be able to pass criminal record clearance

· Have a high school diploma or at least one year of work experience

Work Schedule:

· Part Time

· Monday through Friday

· 9:00 am to 3:00pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
