Fortis Ind. is interviewing for a Part-time / On-call Janitor for our Fort Rucker, AL contract. This position will require Janitorial experience and good work ethic.

- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
- Strip, seal, finish, wax and polish floors.
- Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
- Complete checklists and ensure cleaning requirements per the contract are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
Preferred experience:
- 2 Years Custodial Experience
Primary place of performance:
- Fort Rucker, AL
Required license or certification:
- Driver's License
