Information Technology

40 hours per week, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

To perform a variety of technical duties to maintain the County’s network, including but not limited to computer, printer, mobile devices, and software support. All within the native and virtual environments. At times, works closely with Programming as well as Systems Engineers.

Essential Functions

• Works with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
• Provide training and support to, end users and IT staff on computer operation and other issues.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, workstation software.
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of PC problems for a variety of end users, and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as well as support vial email, phone and Remote Desktop Connection.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or emails regarding PC and/or hardware problems.
• Works with vendors to provide quotes for hardware and software products.

Essential Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer and various peripheral repairs as well as networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and VMWare.
• Understanding of connectivity amongst all locations regarding cabling, switches, and hubs.
• Familiar with wireless technology.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have a computer science degree, certification from a technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Must have 2-4 years’ experience in related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,900.00 - $59,900.00 per year
