Location: All Goodwill Stores with a Career Solutions Center

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is offering no-cost upskilling courses focused on helping you grow your skills to start a new career.

This career development program is available to residents of Middle Tennessee. It offers you the chance to enroll in a program designed to give you the foundational skills needed to start a career in: IT support, data analytics, Python coding, UX design, digital marketing and E-commerce or project management. As part of this program you will receive a scholarship to enroll in an Online Coursera course. While going through the programyou will receive job readiness coaching, resume assistance, interview preparation and job placement assistance. Upon successful completion of the program, Goodwill of Middle Tennessee will work with you to help find a job in your chosen field.

This is an 18-week commitment that requires 16 -20 hours of course work per week with a weekly virtual class. This program will teach you the fundamentals of your selected topic.

Scholarships for this program are awarded to those who qualify. Math, reading, and basic IT assessments are required before being considered for a scholarship to receive this courses at no cost. Upon completion of the program, Job placement assistance is provided by Goodwill for graduates.

In order to qualify for this program:

• Must have a High School diploma or its equivalent
• Have the ability to speak and write English
• Ability to commit to an 18-week program with weekly virtual sessions
• Be at least 18 years old
