Job description
The IT Support Associate will assist the College of Business community with technology needs via phone, email, and other communication methods. This position will utilize industry-recognized incident management, remote management, and system management tools to monitor, assist, and resolve user-related issues. These services include and are not limited to, providing direct support for core college technology services such as account support, hardware and software support, email support, and connectivity issues. Must be able to quickly become familiar with University Identity Management tools, student information systems, and other University Enterprise Systems. This position will also be expected to collaborate with other College of Business stakeholders, CoB ITS, and Nebraska ITS regularly.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in computer technology or related field plus one year of computer support or related experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience must include working with Windows operating systems, software and hardware. Experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office products. Experience must demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of computers, tablets, mobile devices, and audio/visual equipment. Demonstrated ability to lead a project or team effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Computer support experience in an academic environment. Experience working with client management tools. Experience training or familiarizing end users on technology solutions. Experience working with vendors or third-party servicing for technology solutions. Knowledge of wireless connectivity procedures. Experience with Mac operating systems, software and hardware.

Posted Salary $19.18/hr. minimum
