Job Summary

Tactical issue resolution. Strategic project prioritization. Ability to communicate to top business leaders. Build relationships with Corp IT management.

Collaborates with HCA and Parallon project team members to create or enhance technology, applications, etc. The person in this role is a crucial member in the development lifecycle from discovery to implementation as they work with project team members to define and clarify requirements, design the functional solution, identify and resolve project issues, and ensure the solution meets the intended goals. The IT Site Coordinator supports the business owners in matters related to technology and application enhancements and issues. The IT Site Coordinator is considered to be the subject matter expert and liaison between HCA/Parallon ITG and the business.

Works with the support and direction of IT and business leadership to develop an understanding of both technology and business needs which require IT solutions for a specific business areas. Works with other key project team members to define requirements, manage requirements, design the functional solution, identify and escalate project issues, and ensure the IT solution meets the business need.

Ensures IT support for day to day business needs.

Duties include, but are limited to:

  • Serves as liaison between business owners and HCA/Parallon ITG
  • Support IT Site Leadership
  • Work across Field IT and Corporate Services to build relationships and resolve issues. Build network of relationships to draw upon for business expertise that may be required in key areas.
  • Handle strategic projects. Define project requirements by identifying milestones and phases
  • Write detailed description of business goals, user needs, computer program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications and technologies
  • Participate in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance
  • Successful experience in understanding end-user business perspective and translating to create user models, use cases, user interface designs, and business process improvements.
  • Communicate with Service Center Senior Level leaders, business leaders, etc. (both written and verbal). Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of media
  • Identify, monitor and drive issues to resolution
  • Escalate tactical issues
  • Point of contact at site for technology innovations
  • Ability to help prioritize tasks amongst long term strategic projects and short-term escalations
  • Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals
  • Use IT systems of record to manage work
  • Manage work in ServiceCentral (INC, RITM, SCTASK, PRB, KBs)
  • Understand overall priority when items are in queue
  • Help to organize, structure and rollout implementations at the SSC
  • Be forward thinking and anticipate future SSC needs. Articulate them to corporate service teams
  • Identify trends related to issues
  • Participate in Huddles in a matrixed organization. Team in Huddles across SSCs with Directors to triage and prioritize daily work
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, data analysis and negotiation skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care
  • Maintains professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participates in professional societies

  • Demonstrates a customer orientation; establishes and maintains strong relationships with business owners and develops a diverse network of relationships with various stakeholders
  • Creates deliverables independently and manages approvals.
  • Leads in communicating requirements to development, testing, education and training teams
  • Supports the implementation of projects and release work, including pilot training and initial field communication
  • Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other Product Analysts and stakeholders to identify options and recommendations
  • Provides operational support for applications, supporting the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions where there are system issues and coordinating resolution of issues with CSS and development
  • Coordinates and assists in prioritizing new enhancement requests through user story reviews
  • Understands the business implications of technology decisions

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study required
  • Equivalent relatable experience may substitute degree preference

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant business or IT experience
  • 1+ years of experience on increasingly challenging projects in business or IT systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Microsoft Visio required
  • Familiarity with technology terminology or methodology or project management required

Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the Richmond, VA area. Position is in office, Monday - Friday with core hours 8:30 am to 5:00pm.
