The Helpdesk Technician will provide technical support and assistance to Swisslog internal employees using computer hardware, standard desktop applications and software applications. Troubleshoot and conduct problem determination to identify problem source and resolution.

This is a hybrid position and this individual must reside in the Denver, Colorado metro area.

Your collaboration

  • Perform Support Desk functions including troubleshooting of workstation issues and configuration of new workstations.
  • Provide user assistance/training on standard PC/network hardware and software applications.
  • Back up and assist other members of the IT Group.
  • Serve as a liaison between the IT group and the user community.
  • Development and maintain standard IT practices as they relate to end user computing.
  • Administer and develop internal and external end user training programs.
  • Research, track and inventory computer hardware and software.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Your competence

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years Support Desk experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, phone and customer support skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware and desktop operating.
  • Knowledge of desktop imaging.
  • Knowledge of desktop security applications, computing forensics concepts and practical application thereof.
  • Exceptional knowledge of a wide range of desktop applications and security solutions, including Microsoft applications such as Office, Project, Visio, etc.
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of diagnostic utilities including those offered by Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, etc.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end-users.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Work Conditions:
  • Flexible working hours as required. Some night and weekend work.
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
  • Hybrid work environment. Must be on-site in our Westminster, CO office at least part of the time.
Compensation: Salary $51,000-68,000, depending on experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical/dental/vision insurance; tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
