Irrigation Technician

Since the start of Paradise Lawn and Landscape, we’ve become the standard for high-end commercial and residential maintenance and landscape services in the Johnson County area. We maintain commercial and residential properties and provide the following services:

· Turf, tree, and shrub Chemical Applications

· Mowing, bed maintenance, Spring/Fall Clean-up, Shrub/Tree trimming

· Irrigation services (Inspections, Start-up/Shutdown, installs, and repairs)

· Lighting (Installs and repairs)

· Hardscape and Landscape Installs

· Snow Removal

Job Synopsis:

· Looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician

Job Responsibilities:

· Be able to turn on an irrigation system and winterize

· Troubleshooting irrigation issues and replacing faulty parts (e.g. heads, controllers, valves, etc.)

· Installation of new irrigation systems

· Inputting information into our mobile software

Experience:

· Irrigation technician services: 2+ years (Preferred)

Job Qualifications:

· Able to troubleshoot all repairs

· Turn on and blow out experience

· Knowledge of current technology and WIFI controllers

· Valid Driver’s License

· Install experience is a huge plus

· Backflow certified

· Strong ability to manage oneself

· Snow removal/plowing experience is a huge plus

Job Type:

· Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm)

· Part-Time positions also available (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm)

Schedule:

· Full Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

· Part Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm

· Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

· Bonus pay

Benefits:

· Overtime Pay

· Paid Holidays (New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

· Paid Time Off (must work at the company for 4 months to qualify, employee will receive 2 weeks paid)

· 1 week paid sick time

· Parental Leave (one week)

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
