Job description

Provides parts availability and inventory support. Lead team in running of day-to-day client operations and improvement projects for complex clients or multiple clients. Primary goal is to provide clients an objective level of customer services at a minimal investment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all aspects of client IM solutions including forecasting and replenishment.
  • Monitor, generate and interpret results of reports necessary to support clients.
  • Initiate and improve IM processes, service levels, and inventory performance.
  • Produce detailed analysis with organized conclusions for presentation.
  • Responsible for ensuring clients understand the value provided by Neovia IM Services.
  • Develop work instructions to perform tasks.
  • Review complex new client implementations.
  • Oversee projects and distribute workload to team members with accountability for the teams’ results.
  • Train and mentor staff.
  • Provide cross-functional guidance to other functional areas (Ops, IT, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors' Degree from an accredited University in a closely related field
  • 8+ years’ relevant experience
  • 7+ years’ of inventory management, modeling or supply chain management experience
  • Experience in statistical programming
  • Experience with demand/inventory planning systems
  • Data querying/analysis from multiple sources with programming experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Inventory Management philosophies
  • Client facing experience & business acumen
  • Team leadership
  • Experience in statistical modeling
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience with 6 Sigma
  • Experience with ERP, WM & IM systems
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
  • Understanding of advanced statistical concepts
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and other business areas
  • Self-motivated to initiate, drive and own projects; ability to work independently, in teams, and with team members in multiple locations; proven leadership abilities focused on continuous improvement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
