Description

Responsible for the management, administration and execution of efficient inventory management programs and processes to achieve the highest level of inventory accuracy/integrity and efficient placement of product within the facility. Act as the PDC Subject Matter Expert for the warehouse systems (AMOS, WOS and PLUS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts – adhere to specified variance objectives – to include walk-offs and maintenance of zero bin reports (25%)
  • Monitor and manage daily floor denials and maintain Non-Sale inventory reports and resolve shortages in a timely manner (25%)
  • Manage and perform product slotting to insure most efficient space management and efficient placement of inventories within the facility (20%)
  • Perform daily up-sizing / down-sizing functions insuring product is slotted according to established categories. Monitor and correct placement of product (20%)
  • Coordinate product re-labeling initiatives to insure proper adjustment codes are utilized and reported to HQ in a timely manner (10%)

Key Performance Indicators

  • Perform daily cycle counts as specified by national parameters. Resolve discrepancies and implement strategies for improving inventory accuracy. Maintain appropriate records for audit verification.
  • Manage and perform appropriate research for daily stock denials and implement measures to prevent future denials.
  • Perform pre-slotting initiatives for inbound products requiring locations and manage existing inventories to insure product is properly stocked to achieve efficient space management and stocking & picking initiatives.
  • Manage and perform upsizing-downsizing initiatives to insure product is continually slotted according to proper zone, commodity, movement, etc. Apply standardization relative to product placement.
  • Coordinate with Parts Quality Compliance Specialist all relabeling of products, and appropriate inventory adjustment.

Work Schedule & Travel Requirements

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
  • No travel is required for this role.

Required Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but no required.

Experience Requirements

  • 4-6 years of related experience in Warehousing/Distribution Center Operations.
  • PDC / Dealer Parts Dept process awareness, PDC Operational Process experience, and transportation experience.

Skills

  • Proficient computer skills: e-mail, record keeping, routine database, word processing, spreadsheets.
