Raymond Building Supply is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our North Port, FL location to maintain accurate inventory records and improve profit.

How You Will Spend Your Days as Inventory Associate?

  • Daily stock counts - Perform counts and research variances
  • Advise Operations of large variances and root causes
  • Negative stock status
  • Negative invoicing items
  • Labels – Build new labels, update labels etc
  • Check back order report
  • Review & Address weekly over purchased report
  • Pick audits, Review monthly SMI listing, Verify new products added, and Locate material & tag accordingly
  • Contract Purchasing, Unity Reporting, and monthly recaps
  • Review inventory levels are not excessing and assist in Monthly Audits
  • Receiving and Shipping - Routinely check all pulled/staged orders in lumber/hardware

We want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:

  • 1+ year of experience in applying computerized inventory or accounting system
  • Good computer proficiency
  • Ability to calculate figures, amounts, and apply them accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of building material products is preferred
  • Physical demands including standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending or stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
