ARCH Language Network and Intelligere Language Solutions (a Propio Co.) are a language interpreter and translation agency out of Little Canada, Minnesota. We provide interpreting services to hospitals, clinics, schools, mental health, legal and social service environments to the State of Minnesota as well as phone and video services to other states.

This is a block part time position that would require you to be at a specific customers location in St Paul Thursday's and Friday's from 8-4:30pm every week. You also can take contract assignments Monday-Wednesday at various locations.

We are currently looking to partner with qualified, professional interpreters who will be responsible for facilitating daily cross-cultural communication between limited English-speaking individuals, family members along with medical providers and staff. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide interpreting and/or translation services to non-English or limited English speaking individuals and companions/family members.
• Sight translation as needed
• Perform duties in a professional manner
• Comply with the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics
• Complete required training annually such as HIPAA, Fraud & Waste Etc.)
• Stay in compliance on all required medical immunizations as well as active status on the Minnesota Spoken Language Health Care Interpreter Roster
• Stay in communication with schedulers and staff
• Time management skills
  

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate fluency in English and desired Spoken Language
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Medical or legal interpreter training preferred (BTG, TCI, TCII, or TIA)
• Awareness of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
• Completed Immunization Records
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
