CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Our Marketing and Communications team is looking for a new team member. This small and impactful team touches nearly every aspect of this dynamic, global company. As an Internal Communications Specialist, no two days will ever be the same and you’ll report to the Director, Communications. Some of the key work you will do includes:

  • Supporting the organization’s corporate communications efforts and activities to drive employee engagement and effectiveness.
  • Appling various communication strategies that raise awareness and encourage a favorable impression of the company among internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining message consistency and accuracy across multiple tools and channels (e.g., letters, brochures, video, digital asset management, website and intranet).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help create a best-in-class internal communications function supporting employee engagement, connectivity and culture.
  • Support internal communications planning in conjunction with senior leaders.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communication channels, including the company intranet, emails, newsletters, videos, blogs and podcasts.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Human Resources by developing and editing content that supports Diversity and Inclusion, Learning and Development, Benefits and Employee Programs, Recruiting, and other related programs and initiatives.
  • Serve as administer of the company’s intranet, managing the intranet’s architecture, design and evolution.
  • Support company events such as employee town halls and quarterly business meetings (onsite and virtual).
  • Assist with special projects across marketing and communications as needed.



Job Requirements:


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Two years plus experience working with multiple teams and/or projects
  • Advanced Microsoft software skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing employee intranet or website platforms
  • Experience supporting various HR communications (e.g. employee benefits, D&I, etc.)
  • Graphic design, photoshop and video editing a plus
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • A positive and collaborative team member
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Flexible and able to solve problems
  • Juggle competing demands from different aspects of job and departments
  • Have strong presentation skills
  • Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions
  • Enhances department and company reputation by accepting ownership and seeking ways to add value
  • Effectively communicate to internal and external team members with a professional demeanor
