Summary:

Huntington Bank’s Internal Audit Department is searching for an experienced technical solutions provider with a passion for improving processes through application development and automation. The position is an individual contributor reporting to the Sr Audit Group Manager of Data Analytics and Innovation.

Working with business and IT auditors and partnering with both the data analytics and practices teams, you will take problem statements from general business cases and build detailed technical solutions. You will be relied upon to drive the entire development process coordinating with the end users to fully understand the needs of the team and bring their visions to reality.

Job Description:

• Build technical solutions for the department with a variety of tools to improve audit processes and audit testing.
• Work with auditors and department leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and be able to execute planning, development, and training on the solutions created.
• Develop relationships with peers within the company to stay abreast of software and solutions being developed across the organization and determine applicability in the audit department.
• Fully create and maintain documentation of all solutions built.
• Own department SharePoint site including maintaining proper security, document retention, and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Understand Management Reporting processes already established with python, Tableau, and Power Automate solutions and serve as backup to reporting team resource.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint experience.
• Python experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities – Must be able to accomplish goals through influence management and motivation.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Develops relationships with senior managers.
• Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of application development or programming experience.
• Experience with digital visualization tools, including Tableau highly preferred.
• MS Office skills, specifically Power Point and Excel.
• Experience with SQL.
• Issue resolution.
• Internal Audit/Risk Management experience.
