Job description

We are looking for an artful Interior designer to undertake a variety of multi family amenity spaces. Our projects are mainly class A buildings that need a recharge. Every design we do is unique, we are not designing to our own brand, but rather the brand and neighborhood of the community. If you are highly creative and detail oriented multi family design is a great place for you! We have less restrictions with creativity, product sourcing and deliverables than hospitality design, but we design to the same caliber.

Responsibilities

• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
• Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
• Set costs and project fees according to budget
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
• Produce “sample” and “mood products”
• Work closely with designers, architects and contractors
• Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises

Skills

• Proven working experience in designing interior spaces (research & development, space planning, concept/creation, sample sourcing, material and finish selection, drawings/elevation creation in CAD, construction admininstration)
• Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and time/project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Asana, Excel, Outlook, InDesign, Power Point, Photo Shop and other design programs
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• BS degree in Interior Design or similar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
