Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your excellent relationship-building skills to provide exceptional service to our clients. Previous insurance and sales experience is a must. The majority of your responsibilities will include phone sales, with occasional cold calling.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced insurance sales representative. We provide a private office, hands-on training, and a professional environment. We offer a competitive compensation plan that includes an IRA, Paid Time Off, Health insurance, and Monday thru Friday Schedule. The base pay is $30,000 per year with added commission and bonuses. Depending on experience, sales representatives may make $40,000 to $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Mentored and trained by the agency owner to take on a leadership role and eventually ownership of the agency.
• Prospect for new business by making outbound cold calls to prospects and following up on previously quoted.
• Ask leading questions to find out the client's needs while developing rapport.
• Presents and explains insurance policy options based on client needs and personal goals.
• Handle objections and win back clients.
• Maintains phone time and sales quotas as determined by management. And Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and client lists.

Requirements

• Virginia Property and Casualty License required
• 1+ years of demonstrated success in overall sales
• 1+ years experience in insurance
• Must have an entrepreneurial mind with leadership skills.
• Able to work in a team environment while meeting individual and team goals
• Persuasive, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism over the phone or in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
