Job description
The Instructional Assistant provides support to the classroom teacher and is under his/her immediate direction.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- AA Degree, or 48 College Semester Units, or Passing (70%) of County-wide Instructional Assistant Examination Minimum Proficiency Test.
- Experience working with school age children
- Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
Comments and Other Information
Placement on the CSEA Salary Schedule Range, 16, 18, or 20
Based upon the number of college semester units.
I.A. I – Range 16. Completion of – semester units. $17.44 - $21.19
I.A. II – Range 18. Completion of 40 semester units. $18.33 - $22.28
I.A. III – Range 20. Completion of 60 semester units. $19.27 - $23.40
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,417.00 - $104,571.00 per year
