PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Accountability & Authorities

  • PIQ manager profile – Process Industrial Quality manager (Master’s degree in engineering)
    • Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop (IQ team + process + KPI).
    • Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
    • Participate or delegate customer joint Inspections.
    • Participate to process FMEA definition.
    • Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution.
    • Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping.
    • Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.
  • Technician profile
  • Perform, participate to inspections of products (Customer joint inspections included if applicable).
  • Manage problem solving.
  • Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required & performed follow-up.
  • Perform first characterization & manage NCR’s for non-compliant products for internal responsibility.
  • Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
  • Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection, delegation of control (Training, audit, …) & Position Quality Animation with EPU manager.
  • Performance measurements
  • Defects per Unit reduction (10 % per year) and External demerit objective.
  • CONQ objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
  • APSYS score for Industrial scope.

Educational Requirements / Experience

Mandatory:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent for PIQ.
  • Associate degree for Technician (ex. equivalent of BTS in France – 2 years technical degree after high school)
  • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
  • Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
  • Management experience (for PIQ manager).

Competencies & Skills

  • Technical mastering of railway products.
  • International mindset & fluent in English.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.

Desirable:

  • 5 years experiences in Industrial.
  • Project management or equivalent.
