PDQ Skilled Trades is now hiring an Industrial Painter for our client in Mesquite, Texas. This position will be performing all functions pertaining to the preparation and painting of custom-made doors.

First Shift

• $18-$18.50 /hour **Depending on experience
• Paid weekly.
• Overtime opportunity

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for properly loading and unloading of doors onto the Paint Booth
• Accountable for inspection of doors l to assure all welds are proper and pass quality control standards. If defects are noted, report this information to the lead person or supervisor.
• Responsible for properly preparing the doors for application of paint, including wash, zinc plating, drying and primer.
• Accountable for application of paint and all applicable material to assure a quality paint job.
• Accountable for maintaining a production schedule to assure Production Schedule is met or beat.
• Responsible for recommending and ensuring that quality and productivity needs and improvements are communicated to the lead person or supervisor, in order that the Paint operation is the industry leader.
• Responsible for high level of effective communication within and across departments, as well as management levels.
• Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safety and clean work environment.
• Participate and add value as a member of the Paint Department Team.
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of Industrial Painter and/or Sandblast experience.
• Ability to work all elements/environment in the warehouse.
• Willing to work in warehouse/Manufacturing environment.
