The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

· Help remind clients to take prescribed medication according to their physician's instructions.

· Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

· Provide clients with assistance as needed, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring.

· Assist clients with certain physical activities, such as walking, getting into or out of bed, dressing and climbing stairs.

· Perform agreed-upon household duties for the client, including running errands, light cleaning, cooking and laundry.

· Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)

· Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own. Example: laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas.

· Initiates and participates in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar and encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs to develop friendships with other residents.

· Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.

• Follows proper procedures in emergency situations and responds promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance.

Education , Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current insurance.

· Must be over 18 years old

· Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

· A professional and friendly attitude.

· Good time management skills

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

· A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts.
