Freight Forwarder is looking for Imp/Exp Coordinator.|

Ocean Import Operation: 8:30-5:00 ( M-F) Location: Long Beach, CA 90810

Ocean Import Operation: 8:30-5:30 ( M-F) Rancho Dominguez, CA 90220

We will train you.

• Coordinate with clients and shippers to ensure continuity with shipping details
• Maintain an effective data management system to track all shipments and deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service
• Work well in a team environment and assist other co-workers when needed
• Facilitate shipments crossing international borders
• Prepared all shipping documents: Purchase Orders, Weight Certificates, Invoices, Parking Lists.
• Proofread and prepared Bills of Lading and Sea Waybills to establish shipping charges.
• AMS/ACE Operation (Get Flight information for customs clearance)
• Airline pouch document breakdown
• Routine Turn Over to outside customs broker
• Data Entry

Qualifications and Skills

• Any experience in freight forwarding / Logistics is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint )
• Exceptional customer service & problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and accept new challenges
• Working in the office within varying team environments is a must
• Good communication skills (writing in English)
• Good math skills
• AA degree/ Bachelor's degree is required

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
