H2Ok Innovationsis an IoT-enabled operating system for manufacturing and supply chain, focused on industrial liquid and fluid systems. We have developed a novel secure solution for data centers, that have seen swift adoption with one of the largest cloud providers in the world, scaling to hundreds of facilities in 2023. We are looking for a Data Center Sales Consultant to help us replicate this traction to greater hyperscale data center players. Our solution assists in allowing our data center customers to meet their sustainability goals in the water and energy space and operate in a data-driven and efficient manner.

We are a rapidly growing startup, currently servicing major customers including multiple Fortune 500 enterprises, and backed by Construct Capital, 2048 Ventures, Flybridge Capital, 1517 Fund, Techstars, and more. H2Ok Innovations is based out of Greentown Labs–– one of the top cleantech technical communities in the world.

Job description:

  • Connect with and generate qualified leads for H2Ok Innovations’ solution in the hyperscale data center market
  • Understand the OKRs and key goals, needs, and challenges within the data center space around water, power, operations
  • Design a playbook for lead generation within the data center market for H2Ok Innovations’ solution
  • Conduct market research to better inform H2Ok Innovation’s product development and advancement
  • Work with a high-energy team with cross-disciplinary backgrounds to build a solution to the largest efficiency, operations, and sustainability challenges

Qualifications:

  • (Requirement) Have a deep and strong network within the hyperscale data center space, ideally within the operations, engineering, or sustainability teams.
  • Ability to generate conversations and get connected to the right stakeholders within hyperscale data center enterprises (ex. Microsoft, Google, Apple, Meta, Equinix, Digital Realty, LinkedIn, Uber, etc.)
  • Have done sales in the data center market (ex. Microsoft, Google, Apple, Meta, Equinix, Linkedin, etc.) to the water team (most ideal), power team, infrastructure team, innovation team
  • Good understanding of hyperscale data center operations needs and challenges
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced team environment
  • Motivated, driven, startup founder mindset, desire to drive positive change in the world
  • Embody a mindset of mentorship and give first

Location: Greater Boston Area - this position can be remote, hybrid, or in person based on preference

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
