Job Exploration Counselor and Job Coach Position

Now hiring a full-time job exploration counselor/job coach to serve clients in the area of Minneapolis!

Description: Job exploration counseling involves meeting with clients with disabilities virtually and in-person to: research career paths, prepare for a job search, apply for jobs, research post-secondary options, and more. Job coaching involves providing in-person support for clients with disabilities on-the-job to help them master their duties and build a network of natural supports in the workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Facilitate virtual and in-person meetings with a variety of stakeholders

· Proactively collaborate with coworkers and supervisor to serve clients with complex needs

· Travel to and from client meetings and workplaces using own method of reliable transportation

· Write and submit timely reports in compliance with company and state requirements.

· Maintain client records in database

· Communicate professionally via phone, text message, and email communication

· Navigate Microsoft Office applications

· All other duties and tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

· The ability to be client centered

· High degree of autonomy

· Reliable internet connection

· Reliable transportation

· Time management skills

· Associate degree or two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with people with disabilities

· Knowledge of 245D licensure, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and/or disability waivers

· Bachelor’s degree or four years of related work experience

$42,000 starting salary. Benefits include:
