The main job responsibilities will be:
The HW Mechanical Product Development Leader leads the mechanical development of High-Performance Computers to achieve the technical product targets according to the agreed overall project schedule. Ensures the execution of all mechanical engineering activities including development, test & validation, and product industrialization
Lead the component mechanical design and thermal integration, design mounting and cooling strategies
The HW Mechanical Product Development Leader is responsible for the Mechanical Product Release into Production
Ensures the achievement of the required product maturity over the product life cycle
Prepare mechanical technical decision options as input for the change control board and for management escalation
Responsible to release the mechanical Engineering Documentation to the manufacturing plants to be able to perform sample builds.
Manage CAD model for HPC components and support internal and external stakeholders in managing CAD models and installation studies.
Responsible for the requirements from mechanical aspects
Optimize mechanical designs for size, weight, durability, performance, and cost.
Work close with internal and external stakeholders, including, Supplier, Vehicle packaging, thermal, NVH, etc.
Responsible for component level verification and validation
Generates and maintains M-BOM, Part Manufacturing and analytical data within the PLM system

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field

Minimum of 8 years' of experience Mechanical development
Experience in manufacturing process of steel, aluminum, or plastic components
Expert knowledge of ECU module thermal simulation analysis
Expert knowledge with automotive environmental testing standards
Hands-on practical experience with shop tools and prototyping
High sense of independence, ownership, and self-responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years' of experience using CAD and PDM/PLM tools – CATIA, NX and Teamcenter, etc
Minimum of 10 years' experience with electronic components tier 1/2 supplier
Demonstrated experience source packages, specifications, DFMEA and DVP&R through the complete product cycle (from sourcing approval to serial production)
Experience in Agile development
Extraordinary communication skills and are passionate about delivering world-class services
DFSS certification a plus
