SUMMARY

Full Time: Monday – Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm or Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm; one mandatory Saturday per month, 8am-4pm; OT as necessary. Note, Includes rotation of on-call schedule (after hours emergency hotline). The service department is a 24/7/365 operation

Our Sales Coordinator /Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective word-class service for all Company clients, potential clients and employees by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.

Important Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Experience within customer service call center department.
  • Organized; goal- and detail- oriented.
  • Superior customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency, problem-solving and proficient follow-up skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to work with both external clients and team members.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS office and computerized technology systems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales and negotiation experience.
  • Experience within customer service and call-center atmosphere, preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and display a positive attitude towards work and be a team player.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Self-motivated and must have initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; prioritize, organize, document information, keep accurate records and follow-up as necessary to complete customer s job accurately and on time.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job functions include interacting with customers to address their concerns, managing incoming/outbound calls and customer service inquiries, generating sales leads that develop into new customers, and identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction.

With every interaction, provide a world-class customer service experience.

  • Managing incoming calls, emails, chats, create service tickets, book sales appointments, process customer payments, maintain client database with current information and update notes to ensure team and field service technician success.
  • Make outbound calls focusing on promoting Company services and retaining clients.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Ensure field technicians have the proper equipment and parts to load on company vehicles prior to travel to assigned jobs.
  • Maintain punctuality and satisfactory attendance with the willingness to work OT and weekends and on-call queue coverage, as needed.
  • Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs; existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales leads.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be (18) eighteen years of age or older.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Pass background screening clearance for employment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years+ clerical and/or administrative background.
  • Physical Requirements: Most of the time, job duties are performed in a sitting position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.
  • Knowledge or experience in the home improvement or construction industry, preferred.
