The Corporate Recruiter will work closely with Applegreen leadership, to successfully source, screen, interview, and place quality candidates for corporate office roles (on site, hybrid and remote positions). Additionally, they will play an integral role in promoting the Applegreen brand across social media channels and professional communities, and guide hiring managers and candidates through a seamless selection process. The Recruiter will own the full lifecycle of recruiting, maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and candidates, and be a well networked and respected member within our business communities. This individual will also provide additional recruiting support for Travel Plaza site positions when needed.

The candidate we seek will be responsible for:

• Sourcing – Utilize diverse channels including in-person, digital and social media for candidate sourcing. Possess a strong competency at sourcing candidates.
• Pipelining – Proactively identify passive and diverse talent using creative methods to engage top candidates who may not be actively seeking a new role
• Management of full cycle corporate recruiting process; engaging with hiring manager, developing recruiting strategy, sourcing, screening, coordination of approvals, offers, etc.
• Understanding the business – Spend time with functional leaders to understand business needs and improve our advertising campaigns, screening and selection processes
• ATS – help lead the implementation of our ATS and take point on the ongoing management of the ATS
• Strategic planning – Provide a consultative approach to recruiting strategies, systems, metrics, and budget management
• Creating and fostering relationships with colleges and other organizations to proactively attract and recruit the best talent
• Assisting with recruiting for Travel Plaza site positions when needed

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• 2+ years of experience as a recruiter for corporate positions (e.g., Finance, IT, HR, Buying, Construction). Experience recruiting for retail or hospitality roles (in addition to corporate positions) is a real plus!
• Systems savvy; knowledge of Word, Excel and applicant tracking systems
• Experience in both developing recruitment processes and managing a recruitment budget preferred
• Professional demeanor and strong business acumen
• Ability to see beyond the tactical, to understand how the recruiting function impacts the overall health of the business
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with all levels and a demonstrated ability to influence and coach business leaders and employees
• Excellent planning, project/time management, organizational skills with attention to detail
