Essential job functions

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide the Human Resources managers with administrative and clerical support including word processing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, and performing other general office duties. This position will also support Human Resource-related activities including recruitment, learning and development and training, performance management, and employee relations initiatives as well as assists and provides prompt and courteous service to guests, applicants, and team members. Other duties may include:

  • Answer phone line and directs call to appropriate person.
  • Manage employee personnel files to include creating, filing, and updating,
  • Auditing files for accuracy.
  • Assist the Human Resources managers with paperwork, creation of personnel files, orientation of new crew members, and job fair preparations.
  • Assist with employee relations events.
  • Coordinate with Sales Department to create training or event spaces for functions.
  • Issue housing unit keys to new residents and assists with the management of the occupancy list to ensure efficient use of the housing facility.
  • Works closely with the Engineering Department to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the housing facility units, common areas, and surrounding grounds.
  • Maintain an inventory of all furnishings and house wares; record losses for proper charge-off to employees, departments, or the hotel.
  • Schedule and conduct routine and surprise inspection of all units on a monthly and as needed basis in conjunction with the Human Resources Department.
  • Conduct final inspections when employees leave, evaluate condition of unit, and determine deposit refunds as appropriate.
  • Maintain Human Resources product inventory for supplies.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Assist in ensuring all employee requests are handled promptly, and in a courteous and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with all Human Resources managers assisting them in their areas of responsibilities and any other tasks assigned by the HR Director or the HR Managers.
  • Exemplify the Perry Cabin Resorts culture by always conducting yourself in a confidential and professional way.
  • Following established safety and security policies & procedures.
  • Anticipate problems and ask for management assistant as needed.
