The HR project manager is responsible for the project management and the delivery of the human resources work streams. The HR PM will create, manage, and execute different projects to standardize and strengthen HR practices across the company and define new processes across the organization. Their duty involves working together with the Head of HR, HR Business Partners, and HR Operations to ensure streamlined delivery of major HR processes. Also, this person will be the backup to HRBPs and HR Operations Supervisor.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working with the VP of HR, identify annual objectives in relation to the delivery of key HR projects.
  • Project plan the delivery and implementation of each project.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders across the business to ensure initiatives and solutions have their full support ahead of implementation.
  • Proactive contribution of ideas and ongoing suggestions as to the evolution of all projects.
  • Timely delivery of projects and close management of the project budget.
  • Provide insight into best practice in areas such as Recruitment, Compliance, Diversity and Inclusion, employee engagement and cultural change.
  • Proactively share ideas, best practice intelligence and external market trends with the wider HR Team and to inform strategy and activity.
  • Build relationships with the HRBPs and the wider business to effectively implement and embed HR initiatives.
  • Active participation and support with D&I initiatives.
  • Initiating new projects as well as managing these programs by working closely with regional support to ensure simplification and program effectiveness.
  • Researching, evaluating, and analyzing HR business needs and processes that have a potential impact on operations and creating reports that summarize business needs.
  • Support the implementation of change management plans
  • Responsible for all HR Compliance requirements.
  • Back up HRBPs responsibility as well as HR Operations.
  • Ad hoc assistance on projects to the wider HR team as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources work preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Human Resource Management best practice
  • Able to be proactive on HR matters to complete projects and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products – in particular MS Excel to an advanced level is required
  • Knowledge of software tools such as ADP and Workday is plus; experience with similar database tools for applicant tracking, HR information a plus
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree required (HR related academic study/certification highly desirable)
