HR-PAYROLL BUSINESS ANALYST

The HR-Payroll Business Analyst position is a hands-on position responsible for administering and monitoring HR and Payroll systems and processes across all companies and facilities. This position reports directly to the CIO and directly supports the HR and Payroll departments. This role requires minimal travel (less than 5%).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, adapt and improve business processes around HR and Payroll functions.
  • Conduct training as necessary for HR and Payroll employees on software usage.
  • Develop and monitor policies for the use of HR and Payroll systems and software.
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades for HR and Payroll systems and software.
  • Create and maintain access control lists and associated user accounts and permissions for HR and Payroll systems.
  • Test new product releases to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
  • Analyze complex problems related to payroll data
  • Make recommendations and provide solutions that meet user expectations
  • Serve as resident technical expert for the UKG platform
  • Serve as the primary Business Intelligence expert for the UKG Platform (Reporting, exporting, etc.)
  • Serve as the resident technical expert for time collections (time clocks and punch gathering).
  • Seamlessly transition between independent work, teamwork and management interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a hands-on, operational IT role supporting HR and Payroll.
  • Experience participating in large IT projects and rolling out various systems and platforms across multiple locations.
  • Extensive knowledge of endpoint platforms and IT Security best practices
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Solid emotional intelligence and mental sharpness as required to deal with simultaneous high-priority requirements and an occasionally stressful work environment.
  • Unwavering commitment to providing courteous, timely and accurate customer service.
  • Suitable fit and personality to be a team player who works tirelessly for the good of the team and company.
