Purpose:

Endura has an immediate opening for an HR Generalist in our Prineville, OR location. As a key member of the Human Resource team, this position works with the local HR Business Partner in providing a consistent, high-level service to employees and support to the divisional leadership team in all aspects of human resources.

Essential Functions:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, employee engagement and morale; safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintains employee files and HR filing system
  • Builds strong working relationships and credibility with assigned leadership and business areas through open communications, visibility, and trust-building behaviors
  • Supports organizational change initiatives, modeling effective change management practices
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information, insurance and litigation documents, employee information (e.g., wage information, discipline, health information) and other sensitive and confidential information.
  • Contributes to and/or manages assigned projects and programs
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the HRIS and talent management systems
  • 3-5 years of HR experience involving employee engagement in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
  • Workday experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,327.00 - $60,503.00 per year
