We are looking for an HR Coordinator/Generalist to support the organization’s human resources initiatives. Candidates should be familiar with the following areas: high volume recruiting and on boarding, employee/labor relations, wage, and salary administration.

Please note the ideal candidate will need to able to work a flexible schedule, however the expectation is to work an afternoon shift Noon to 8:30pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility.

Role and Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator is will handle the administrative duties for the human resources department

  • Responsible for helping employees enroll in company benefit programs
  • Administers various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, company provided benefits, supplemental benefits, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  • Conduct new-hire benefits orientation and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
  • Assures employees’ benefit questions and issues are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Duties include communicating benefit options to employees, keeping accurate records of employee insurance information, and overseeing the enrollment process
  • They assist the HR Department with recruitment, maintaining employee records, and provide administrative support to all employees
  • Keep up to date on company policies and procedures
  • Assists with organization of Job Descriptions
  • Coordinate the entire interview process for candidates & manage onsite interviews

Skills, Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years progressive recruiting experience for light industrial, administrative, technical and professional positions, or other equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal laws governing human resources and recruiting practice
  • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking systems/Talent Management software; experience with JazzHR
  • Must have strong organization skills and the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Strong drive for results with the ability to operate successfully in a team based environment
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external contacts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
