Overview:

Human Resources Business Partner


The
HR Business Partner supports the Regional VP of Operations and plays a key role in providing comprehensive HR support to the field. This includes driving the effective execution of HR processes including team member relations, talent management, performance management and team member engagement. Provides coaching and guidance to region, practice management and team members to recommend solutions to business issues.

Essential Duties

  • Partner with leadership to help communicate changes affecting benefits, team member relations, payroll or other processes.
  • Act as a resource to managers and team members on a wide variety of human resources topics and guide team members to tools and resources
  • Mediate and resolve team member relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary
  • Provide counseling and direction to team members, facilitate communication, and help resolve conflicts that impact team member engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the human resources department to develop policies, programs, and solutions
  • Identify training needs and work with Training & Development manager to procure training curriculum
  • Respond to general associate questions and provide connectivity to the appropriate resource for resolution.
  • Develop recommended plans to address associate performance issues and management coaching opportunities.
  • Provide direct coaching and consultation to field leadership to build and develop greater organizational capability.
  • Partner with Recruiting to ensure that recruiting strategies and processes are well understood and used
effectively by hiring managers.

Responsibilities:
Experience/Requirements
  • Experience in a large multi-city/geography company
  • Experiencing supporting remote teams a strong plus
  • 4 + years of high-volume generalist experience in an HR capacity or service related field
  • Experience in HR disciplines such as training, recruiting, employee relations, or organizational development preferred
  • Requires leadership skills with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Requires regional and area travel
  • Expected to work all scheduled work days, during scheduled hours and report to work on time.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKAs)

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law including EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, and unemployment
  • Knowledge of compensation practices, benefits, and recruitment process
  • Excellent interpersonal
  • Written Communication

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources required or equivalent job-related experience
  • PHR or SPH
