Basic Function

Emptying trash cans and ashtrays.
High dusting.
Spot cleaning and sanitizing.
Floor care (i.e. Mopping, vacuuming, urethane, etc.)
Bathroom cleaning.
Cleaning buildings on a daily basis.
NOTE: Other duties of this position includes the responsibility of the housekeeper to maintain all hard surface and carpet surfaces at a high level of quality at all times of the year. Attention to detail is very important. Operating equipment such as buffers, auto scrubbers and carpet extractors is a regular part of the job and requires both skill and strength.
Process and procedure within established routines is the key to success for the floor care portion of this job responsibility.
