Private family looking hire a HOUSEKEEPER/AFTER SCHOOL CARE in Phoenix, MD

The Ideal Candidate: Looking for a candidate who is very organized and meticulous. They would like someone who can come in and handle routine cleaning in an organized way. Tasks during the day will be Housekeeping duties. Children are 7 and 4, and are in school FT. After school care will be needed for children and possible before school care. An ideal day will look like this: Feed children in the morning & get them ready for school. Drive each to their schools. Return to the house and clean portions of the home each day so that the entire house is cleaned each week, including washing/folding/putting away the laundry. Pick up children from school. Ensure second grader's homework is completed. Ensure children have a bath/shower each evening. Prepare dinner and ensure children eat. Play/read with children during down time. Someone who is happy to take them to activities when time allows. Prepare children for bed, read a book, and put to bed. They have one dog. If needed, morning and evening feedings as well as outside bathroom breaks may be needed.

What Works Best for Family: Someone who is happy and loving, but also active. A patient, fun, and firm personality will fit best. They prioritize routine with the children. Someone who is proactive, hardworking, and meticulous.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: - 3 days a week 6AM-6PM (Tues, Wed, Thur)
• Experience: 5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Loving, happy, enjoys being active, has patience, meticulous and organized.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$35/hr
• Living Accommodations: Live Out, Live-In while on shift is optional.
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
